Гайдемарі Стефанишин-Пайпер - американська астронавтка, українка за походженням. Її пращури - з Львівської області. Вона брала з собою на орбіту значок пластівської лілейки, тому що в дитинстві Гайдемарі була членкинею українського Пласту в США, символом якого є лілея.
Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper is an American astronaut, Ukrainian by origin. Her ancestors are from the Lviv region. She took the Plast daylily badge with her into orbit, because as a child Heidemarie was a member of the Ukrainian Plast in the USA, whose symbol is a daylily.
